Join us in 2021 for our 43rd Season

Blue Lake Suzuki Family Camp, in its 43rd season, is designed as an opportunity for families to learn and play together following the teaching of Dr. Shinichi Suzuki: “Nurturing and positive early environment foster high musical ability in any child guided properly by teachers and parents working together.”

2021 brings new challenges to summer camps all across the country. Blue Lake will look a little different on the surface as we embrace COVID-19 mitigation practices that promote health and safety within our campus community, and we invite you to learn more about our plans here. At the heart of Blue Lake remains that same wonderful, familiar place – a welcoming environment focused on quality arts education and opportunity for growth.

Camping at Blue Lake provides an opportunity to experience West Michigan's beautiful natural features while focusing on family-oriented Suzuki training. Families camp in rustic cabins and dine together in a cafeteria-style setting at Marek Hall. Campfire rings and picnic tables are available throughout the housing areas.

Blue Lake's instructional and housing facilities span nearly 300 acres of Manistee National Forest, with wandering footpaths and trails through the woods and along Little Blue Lake. The camp offers two large swimming pools overlooking the lakeshore and Central Park beach area.
