Some cabins have separated rooms, concrete floors, lavatory with shower, beds, electricity and
a few furnishings. A limited number of these cabins are available. Early registration is
encouraged to secure a cabin with a bathroom. There are two options:

o Kitchenette – 4 cots (up to 4 people)
o No Kitchenette – 2 or 3 cot sized bunk beds and 1 single cot (5-7 people)

Cabins have concrete floors, lavatory with shower, beds, electricity and a few furnishings. A

Single-Family Cabin with shared bathhouse: $260 per session – 5 cot-sized bunk beds and 2 single cots (up to 12 people)
Six cabins are arranged in a semi-circle around the large bath building, which has multiple sinks, toilet stalls, and separate showers, divided for men and women. Cabins consist of one large room, 24’ x 24’, wooden floor, 5 cot-sized bunk beds and 2 single cots with mattresses, basic shelving, and electrical outlets. Families will be assigned their own cabin. Those who wish to neighbor with friends in the same unit may request this at the time of registration. There are a limited number of 2-person cabins available at a lower cost. Early registration is suggested to secure one of these cabins.

The large bath building is nearby, with multiple sinks, toilet stalls, and separate showers, divided for men and women. Those who wish to neighbor with friends in the same unit may request this at the time of registration. There are a limited number of 2-person cabins. Early registration is recommended.

Camp Sites

Blue Lake welcomes a range of camping units, including tents, pop-up trailers, camping trailers, and recreational vehicles. Due to the rustic nature of our campus, we strongly recommend smaller units. Blue Lake may not be able to accommodate larger RVs and trailers with slide-outs. Blue Lake does not offer sewer or dump stations. All electricity is 110 outlets with 20 amp service. RVs and trailers using higher amperage will need an adapter cable.

Campsite with electrical and water – $130 per session
No tents in this area. Numbered sites for RVs/Trailers (Max length 24′) with electricity (110 outlets with 20 amps), water, and picnic table. Restroom, shower facilities nearby, 10 minute walk to classes.

Campsite with electrical only – $115 per session
Numbered sites for RV/Trailer (Max length 30′) with electricity (110 outlets with 20 amps) and picnic table. Rec field, rest room, shower facilities, and water nearby, 10-minute walk to classes.

Rustic campsite (no water or electricity) – $100
Rustic, non-designated sites for tents in the forest with no electrical or picnic table.

Off-Camp Housing

While families are not required to stay on campus, we strongly recommend it as a way to embrace the full camp experience. West Michigan accommodations can fill quickly during the summer months. Reserve early. For more information on local accommodations:

Meal Information

Families dine together in a cafeteria-style setting at Marek Hall. Breakfast is included with all housing selections.

The Suzuki Family Camp provides daily meals in Marek Hall North. Meal times and a menu will be provided upon arrival. In addition to our daily menu options, which include a vegetarian option at each meal, Blue Lake provides limited gluten-free and dairy-free options as a menu supplement for participants with those dietary needs. While we work to limit some common allergens, such as peanuts and tree nuts, there is not a separate allergen-free menu or food preparation area in our kitchen. Call 800-221-3796 for further details and menu information prior to enrolling.
