Overview

Day 1: Check In 8:30am, Family Orientation 11:00am, Lunch 12:00pm, Classes begin 1:00pm
Day 2 – 3: Scheduled classes
Day 4: Scheduled classes in the morning, afternoon concerts ending by 4:00pm

Daily Student Schedule

Classes are scheduled between 8:30 and 4:30. There are six class periods each day and students will have three or four classes during this time depending on registration selections. There is an activity for everyone each evening at 7:00pm.

Piano Students
  • Individual lesson in a master class format of 3-5 students.
  • Repertoire class using select review repertoire (list here).
  • Enrichment class of improvisation, theory, and/or Dalcroze movement.
  • Chamber music for ages 9 and up. Learn more here.
String Students
  • Individual lesson in a master class format of 3-5 students. 
  • Technique class, appropriate to the level of the students.
  • Repertoire class using the select review repertoire (list here). 
  • Young Readers’ orchestra for students, ages 7 and up. Learn more here.
  • Chamber music and orchestra for students ages 9 and up. Learn more here.

Daily Family Activities

Families are encouraged to enjoy other activities at camp. When not in scheduled classes, families are welcome to swim in the swimming pool, hike the nature trails, peruse the instrument museum, and create guided art projects in the Art Barn. Drop-in fiddling and Dalcroze movement classes are open to the whole family.
