Become a Blue Lake Public Radio Underwriter

When your company or organization underwrites programming on Blue Lake Public Radio, two things are accomplished: you’re connected to a unique and critical consumer segment, and you’re helping to sustain our fine arts mix of classical and jazz music, along with NPR’s Morning Edition & All Things Considered.

WBLV FM 90.3
With a 100,000-watt broadcast signal, WBLV is the region’s most powerful public radio affiliate, reaching eighteen (18) West and West-Central Michigan counties, and serving listener-consumers in Grand Rapids, Muskegon, Grand Haven, Holland, Pentwater, Ludington, Manistee, Cadillac, Big Rapids, Mt. Pleasant, and other communities.

WBLU FM 88.9
Located in the heart of Grand Rapids, Michigan’s second largest city, WBLU serves the greater Grand Rapids/Holland metropolitan area.

Unlike most radio stations in America these days, a significant amount of our programming is locally-originated by Blue Lake hosts Bonnie Bierma, Foley Schuler, Lazaro Vega, Norm Kittleson and Steve Albert. Our local programming also includes performances by the Grand Rapids Symphony and West Michigan Symphony. In addition, Blue Lake Public Radio offers the highest-quality network programs like the New York Philharmonic, Chicago Symphony, and the Metropolitan Opera, plus great shows like Radio Deluxe with John Pizzarelli, American Routes, and Pipedreams.

It’s well-known that a large segment of the public radio audience is highly-educated and affluent, with discretionary income to purchase higher-end products and services. Specific demographic data concerning classical, jazz, and NPR News listeners is available upon request.

Blue Lake Public Radio is a non-commercial public radio service wholly-owned and operated by Blue Lake Fine Arts Camp, and funded by grants and contributions from national, regional, and local sources, including foundations, businesses, and individual listeners.

Blue Lake Public Radio is committed to enriching life in West Michigan by providing the finest cultural programming available.
