For more information on Blue Lake’s 2021 adjustments relating to COVID-19 health and safety precautions, visit COVID-Careful Planning. Final details will be emailed to participants in late July 2021 as we know more about the status of the pandemic, its impact in western Michigan, vaccinations, and testing. Precautions related to minimizing the impact of COVID-19 will include:

  • Proof of negative COVID-19 test presented upon arrival
  • Enrollment limitations to facilitate physical distancing
  • Expanded use of outdoor venues throughout the campus to limit indoor exposure
  • Daily health checks to monitor participants for any symptoms
  • Single-household housing to minimize potential exposure
  • Closed campus no visitors; participants restricted to campus for the week.

Enrollment Options:
Chamber Music for Fun Program Resident (includes program, on-camp housing, and all meals) - $350
Chamber Music for Fun Program Commuter (includes program, plus two meals daily) - $250
Guest of a Program Participant (includes on-camp housing with participant, and all meals) $175

All participants must provide payment authorization for an $80 non-refundable deposit when the online application is submitted in order to secure a position in the 2021 Chamber Music for Fun Program. The remaining balance must be paid prior to July 16th, 2021. No balance payments will be accepted on-site.

Chamber Music for Fun Refund Policy:
Refunds are processed within 30 days of written notice to Mike Stanley, CMFF registrar, at Requests received at least 30 days prior to the start of the program are eligible for all fees paid to be refunded except the non-refundable $80 deposit. Requests received after July 16 are not eligible for a refund.
Coronavirus Pandemic Considerations: If an enrolled participant is impacted directly by the coronavirus pandemic and/or complications related to COVID-19, all tuition will be refunded, including the deposit, under the following circumstances:

  • Blue Lake prohibits the participant from attending or completing camp due to COVID-19 diagnosis.
  • Blue Lake cancels the program. (If cancelation occurs, refunds will be processed within 90 days).
