Historic Recordings This month we are pleased to offer you some truly historic recordings of the New York Philharmonic, beginning with Friday evening, Sepember 3rd. On that evening's broadcast you will hear Igor Stravinsky conducting his Firebird Suite, you'll also hear Darius Milhaud conducting his Suite Francaise, and Paul Hindemith conducting his Requiem for Those We Love. Also this month, conductors Ellen Taaffe Zwilich, Marin Alsop, Nadia Boulanger, Leonard Bernstein, Andre Kostelanetz, and Lorin Maazel. Be sure to tune in Friday nights at 8:00 for these extraordinary recordings.
