Blue Lake’s Harp Program provides a focused, well-rounded learning experience for intermediate and high school students. Students spend more than five hours in the harp studio every day, participating in private lessons, harp ensemble, intensive practice, and classes in topics such as music theory, harp history, and performance skills. Students can complete their instructional day by choosing a Minor, allowing them to experience another area of interest while at camp. See minors for a complete listing of courses. Students also have the opportunity to hear various performances presented as a part of Blue Lake’s Summer Arts Festival, as well as participate in recreational activities and other camp events. Pedal and lever harps are provided by the camp. Enrollment is limited to six students per session, accepted on a first come, first served basis. Each session concludes with a student recital.
