2011 International Study Group: Andrew Anglin grew up performing and working backstage at the Croswell Opera House in Adrian, Michigan. Since then, he’s acted and directed regularly in both educational and professional settings. Holding a BA in Theatre, English (Honors) and Education from Eastern Michigan University and an MA in Theatre with an emphasis in directing and acting pedagogy from Michigan State University (Summa Cum Laude), Andrew now teaches theatre and directs plays and musicals for Byron Center High School. Now in his 4th summer as the Theatre Department Director at Blue Lake Fine Arts Camp, Andrew is very excited about the new Shakespeare program, the construction of the new Elizabethan theatre and the theatre study trip to England and Paris! He is a member of Educational Theatre Association, American Alliance for Theatre and Education and the Michigan Interscholastic Forensics Association. This is Mr. Anglin’s second year on tour with the Theatre Study Group. |
