2014 BLUE LAKE SUMMER ARTS FESTIVAL HIGHLIGHTS

As a part of the 2014 Summer Arts Festival, Blue Lake’s Opera Department, under the artistic leadership of Dr. James Niblock, will present Engelbert Humperdink’s Hansel and Gretel for the camp community. First performed in Weimar, Germany in 1893, this well loved fairy tale opera will serve as an introduction to opera as a synthesis of the arts for our campers. Select seats are reserved for public: For Opera ticket information, call (231) 894-1966 ext. 207.

Throughout the Summer Arts Festival, Blue Lake offers more than 175 performances to our public and camper audiences with select concerts broadcast live on Blue Lake Public Radio – WBLV 90.3 (Muskegon, MI), and WBLU 88.9 (Grand Rapids, MI), and online at bluelake.org. For a complete schedule of public events, call 800-221-3796 or visit bluelake.org.
